Check out the filters from Breakthrough & ZEISS, that I recommend.
This company is the most recent I learned about for filters and tried them once and really loved their quality. They’re also the most highest rated filter I’ve come across in reviews online and in YouTube videos, which helped in leading me to try these and make these my primary ND filter choice. They’re up there in price like ZEISS filters, but they’re well worth their price!
These filters are perfect in that they combine a CPL and a ND filter together, eliminating stacking of those two different filters for certain shooting applications. These come in 1, 3 and 6 stop options.
Excellent filter for eliminating reflections, such as on water in the foreground of a photo and also enhancing sky color. They’re what I use and highly recommend.
I haven’t used Breakthroughs CPL filters yet, but their quality is without a doubt amazing, so that’s why I thought I’d list their CPL filter as well.
Anything with the ZEISS branding is never cheap, but these are the best UV filters I’ve ever used for any of my camera lenses. In owning all ZEISS glass it was a no-brainer in using the brand of my lenses for my filters as well.
I recommend the Breakthrough Photography step-up rings for their solid brass build. They’re far easier to put on and take off any lenses, without getting stuck like some of the cheaper lower quality step-up rings. For only $25-$35 they’re not that expensive at all for a high quality ring.
