Photography with Intention
When you work with me, you're not simply hiring someone to operate a camera.
You're hiring a photographer with years of experience working across editorial, commercial, portrait and event environments. My approach is rooted in three things:
SEE
I look for authentic moments, beautiful light and compositions that tell a story.
CREATE
I use the environment, direction and my photographic style to create images with intention.
PRESERVE
The final photographs should remain meaningful long after the session or event is over.
Your Moments. Beautifully Seen.
Photography is more than documenting what happened.
It's about creating images that allow you to remember how it felt.
My approach combines intentional composition, natural expression, beautiful light and a refined editing process to create photographs that feel authentic while standing the test of time.
Whether I'm photographing an editorial assignment, an engagement, a wedding or a portrait session, my goal is the same:
Create photographs that feel like you—not a template.

What Makes the Experience Different?
Authentic Images. Intentional Editing.
I believe great photographs should begin in camera.
Rather than relying on heavy retouching or artificial manipulation, I focus on creating the strongest possible image during the session itself.
My post-production approach emphasizes:
COLOR, LIGHT, CONTRAST, TONALITY, CONSISTENCY
Skin imperfections can be cleaned up naturally, but I do not reshape bodies, dramatically alter facial features or use editing to create an unrealistic version of someone.
You should still look like you. Just photographed exceptionally well.
The Lens Matters
From the camera to the final image
The equipment I use is an important part of my creative process.
I work with professional cameras and high-quality optics, including ZEISS lenses, to help achieve the level of detail and rendering I want in my photographs.
But equipment is only part of the equation.
The real investment is in the photographer's ability to see.
The camera records the image.
Experience creates the photograph.

Invest in the Experience
Photography should last longer than the moment.
The photographs we create today become the images you return to years from now.
That's why I don't approach every session the same way.
Your story is different.
Your environment is different.
Your people are different.
Your photographs should be too.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you retouch or alter bodies?
I don't use artificial body reshaping or extensive manipulation to change someone's physical appearance.
My goal is to create flattering, authentic photographs in camera.
Basic cleanup—such as removing temporary blemishes—is part of my editing process.
If you're looking for extensive Photoshop manipulation or body alterations, my approach may not be the right fit.
Can I wear makeup?
Absolutely.
However, I recommend keeping makeup natural and camera-ready.
Because professional cameras and high-quality lenses capture significant detail, excessive or heavily layered makeup can appear less flattering on camera.
A professional makeup artist can be helpful for larger productions, but it isn't required for every session.
How are my final images selected?
After your session, I carefully review and curate the photographs from your collection. I select the strongest images based on composition, expression, lighting, focus, and overall storytelling and professionally edit to represent the final creative vision of the session.
Unedited or RAW files are not included.
Can I purchase additional images?
Yes.
Additional edited images may be purchased beyond the number included with your selected collection.
Do you photograph families?
My current portrait offering is focused on individuals and couples.
For larger groups or family photography, please inquire about availability before booking.
What happens if I need to cancel?
A $250 retainer is non-refundable and is applied toward your session.
If you cancel, any amount paid above the $250 retainer may be eligible for a refund according to the terms of your booking.
Please make sure your schedule is confirmed before reserving your date.
