Photography has taken me around the world, but some of my favorite experiences have happened while walking through a city with other photographers, teaching someone a new technique, exploring a new destination, or simply sharing ideas with people who love photography as much as I do.

Professor Hines Experiences are about bringing people together through photography.

Workshops & Travel

The world is the classroom.

Some experiences call for more than a two-hour photowalk.

My workshops combine photography, education, travel and exploration, giving photographers an opportunity to slow down, immerse themselves in a new environment and develop their creative perspective.

Depending on the experience, workshops may include:

I’m proud to collaborate with my friend, photographer and educator Scott Robert Lim, a Sony Artisan of Imagery, to create destination photography experiences around the world.

Scott is an incredible photographer, educator and mentor with a passion for bringing photographers together and helping them develop their creative voice through hands-on experiences, exploration and education.

Together, our goal is to create an experience like no other—combining photography, travel, culture and community while giving photographers the opportunity to learn in the places that inspire us.

From walking the streets of Paris to exploring Tokyo and beyond, these experiences are about more than taking photographs. They’re about seeing differently, developing your style, building relationships and creating memories along the way.

The Professor Hines Photowalk began in New York City in 2015. Since then, the community has gathered in cities across the United States and internationally.
